Tangled Up In Lace

it’s Pride weekend here in CGay and i’m thinking about how lucky i am to have survived homelessness and addiction as a queer youth, to have the privilege of being an out and supremely loved femme in a world that seeks to destroy femininity like mine and how to best walk the world as a white cis lady so that i may stand in solidarity with my community. i’m thinking about all the work that still needs to be done and feel so ready to take to the streets this morning for the Calgary Dyke and Trans March! LEZ GET SLUTTY (but safe and consensual)
